inside information about being a smart call centre customer.

There were two really important things that I have learned while working at Vodafone. I now have a much better idea about what customer service means. I also understand how a call centre works. This is what I’d like to write about today.

Newsmap is a graphic representation by Marcos Weskamp of the shape of the news of the moment and of the day.  It monitors the thousands of news feeds that are tracked by Google News and creates a display of headlines whose sizes reflect the number of recent articles.  Very interesting.

Webflash - a screensaver composed of refreshed web pages.

Webflash creates a screensaver that displays in sequence a set of web pages that you specify and updates them regularly. This would be a handy way to keep track of current news. You could display a custom RSS feed, your own blog, or the Newsmap site. I would like to have some assurance of the quality and reliability of this software before downloading.
