In an hour-long talk at SDSC, Andrew Odlyzko summarizes his last five years of work on Internet economics and evolution.

He doesn't explicitly mention it, but he's making a case for podcasting (the most valuable stuff is voice and user-created content). If you use the latest RealPlayer you can see his case for faster-than-real-time made in front of your eyes as an hour of "streaming" video is cached onto your computer in ten minutes.
