I hate it when photos disappear, guess I won't post any anymore since this results in my page hanging rather than loading all the way.  Some macros disappear in the picture, whatever, I'm not much of a geek to figure this out -- Salon, Radio, and/or copyrighted photo? --  so I'll just hold back on the urge to post pictures, that is all.  No, it's not, Montreal's humidity sucks, I can barely function, oh well, short summer, long winter -- a few short months away.  At least the neighbouring bar is quiet, everyone must be in their respective homes with AC and being noisy there, good.

ColbyCosh.com: "Fear and loathing Instapundit just linked to a story in Newsday that begins thus: BATON ROUGE, La. -- Louisiana Gov. Mike Foster reminded women Thursday that they can pack a gun to protect themselves from a serial killer who has slain three women in the capital in the past 10 months. "You have the right to get a gun permit," Foster said. "Learn to use it." How very, very different Canada's southern neighbour still is. Governor Foster's advice reminded me of the ongoing story of Holly Desimone, a Canadian rape victim whose case is currently making national headlines. "

Log Cabin Chronicles Johnny Musn't Grumble Blog: "The Camel Boys of the Persian Gulf Recently, during a lovely dinner with Chris & Chris Manning on vacation from their ex-pat jobs in Dubai, I learned about camel boys. A Google search turned up reams of copy about the sport of camel racing and allied facts. Build this picture in your head: ...."
