Celtic music journalism and the future of Celtic Grove: "What is going to become of Celtic Grove? What kind of e-zine do we wish to be? With CARP and a dozen other things threatening us on multiple fronts, it seems at times we are down for the count. Lately however, we've concerned ourselves more with writing better material and less with the RIAA. Once we honestly figured out they couldn't touch us where we are going (I can't tell you where yet, but I will say it is offshore) we realized the business of actually writing articles and creating content had to go on. So what follows is a little retrospective on the humble roots of roots music journalism. We don't compare Celtic Grove to Dirty Linen by any stretch, but we do feel we are heirs to a great heritage of a hundred little fan magazines. If we can garner an audience and make a few people happy -- then that is a good thing. And if the RIAA doesn't like it, they can kiss our kilts!"

Man, I have barely read any of the links I've posted to this blog of mine.  I think from now on, I'll post less and try to write a little more.  This may, however, take more time since I'm not that great of a writer, but I'll at least try my best.  I'm going through many changes in my life and may have some eye operations next month -- the operations are not that painful, what is painful is the numerous appointments per year where my appointment is scheduled for 9:00 and then not hearing my name called until 17:00.  I really hate waiting all that time but until I am a serious success I will remain in Canada, if I'm ever rich then I'll think about moving or at least paying for health care in America.

I wonder if Americans who pay for health care actually get in on time, or they have to wait hours and hours as well.  If you have experience or knowledge in this regard, please comment and/or contact me.

Audible.com is sending a second Otis MP3 Player, if it too does not work for me, then I'll be crashing the computer so everything works again.  Reinstalling everything will not be fun, but at least we can save most of our things on our Save Drive.  My MP3's and audiobooks are always saved on the internet so this is cool.

I have lots of great links and I must get reading, I may post a couple of newsfeeds since I'll visit them first.
