Executives advised to take role in Internet security [SecurityFocus]

Change comes from the top down (or so they say).  Until corporate executives start spending more on computer security than coffee, they don't stand much of a chance of securing their infrastructure.  Oh yeah, and they gotta spend less time robbing their shareholders.

I never trusted Kindergarteners.  They're always crying and learning to count and stuff.  I should have guessed that they are funding terrorism.

Next step ... take on that other hotbed of young radical drug culture.

Microsoft to Boost Security Response [SecurityFocus]

If this actually happens, it would be a good move in the right direction for Microsoft.  The fact that they haven't been applying good secure engineering procedures to their own security patches has been one of the more embarrassing contradictions in Microsoft's security push.

...gotta love Jerry Falwell.  I don't know about the Reagan era, but the reign of King George I was pretty good for me in this department.
