Both Boeing and British Aerospace are researching anti-gravity.

"I find it rather peculiar that they've done this," said Bob Park from the American Physical Society, in reaction to the BAe Systems admission. "One can only conclude that at the higher levels of these organisations there are people who don't have a very sound grounding in fundamental physics.

Experience the stimulation of True Porn Clerk Stories.  [kuro5hin.org]

One of the more amusing passages:

The polite fiction of the porn section is that, while people do generally use porn for the purpose of masturbation, there is no reason to believe that this particular customer will be doing so. He could be using them for his Master's thesis. Hell, he may not get around to watching them at all. We all like to believe that. When it becomes all too clear to everyone involved that said customer did, in fact, not only lube up, watch the tape, stroke himself to orgasm, and then grab the goddamned thing without even taking the basic courtesy of washing his goddamned hands first, we all get uncomfortable.

What else to say about this.  They appear to be Estonian.  For whatever reason, Estonia produces a lot of good classical music.    And some of them are lookers!  Who knew they had medieval music ensembles doing Black Sabbath covers

Odd..  I just added my movie list, which includes Woyzeck (the source of my full nick, Wozzeck) and another Salon blogger brings up Werner Herzog.  FWIW, my relationship with Wozzeck  came from my music education. The film is a bit odd, even considering the subject matter.

Jack and I had a good night.  I burned a Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey show I had to miss in service of the Lodo Music Festival and the groove triumvirate of Soulive, Robert Walter's 20th Congress, and Galactic.  It turns out that Jacob Fred was opening for Lettuce, which apparently is half of Soulive.  It was a good night, but Jacob Fred is the Future,  Hopefully I'll be able to catch them next time (note that they are not credited on the front page, and I will have someone's ass because of this).  If not, I'm sure I'll be able to find something else interesting to listen to.  I never would have thought, being a Connecticut Yankee in King Owens Court, that I'd find good music around here, but the jamming crowd seems to have taken a liking to Colorado.

In any case, tonight we watched Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, which is always an entertaining flick, and Made, which isn't quite as entertaining, but which serves up Vince Vaughn as Vince Vaughn, and thats often a good thing.

And now there's a Cheech and Chong movie on Comedy Central.  Not their strongest effort, but it will do.

I'm gonna check the news, play some TFC on my regular server, and go to bed.

Kisses,
