Sanders' first appearence as a band leader. A very conservative hard-swinging bebop sound, but you can hear Pharoah ready to go off, but he never quite gets there. In any case, an enjoyable album which just barely hints at what is to come. Another fine ESP-Disk' reissue by Calibre.
