> Does Justice Follow Bombs ?

New York Times: 2 U.S. Pilots Charged With Manslaughter in Errant Bombing.

The pilots' individual responsibility will be more or less publicly examined, which is a good thing, whether Maj. Umbach and Maj. Schmidt are actually convicted or not for killing Canadian soldiers of the International Force in Afghanistan by - obviously - mistake.

Now I would like to know if there actually was a formal inquiry after the (unfortunate) bombing of a wedding party on July 1st, that caused a far larger number of civilian Afghan victims, and why it didn't lead to a public prosecution ?

I'm afraid (and deeply ashamed) the nationality of the victims is the most evident reason.
