Well, we have landed in Highlands Ranch. The drive down was actually shorter than I expected, taking only about 40 minutes. And that was including getting slightly lost once.
My silver lining turns out to be the view from my office. I can see almost the entire front range from left/south to right/north. I have seen hawks hunting for prey most of the morning today. It's going to be a challenge the first few days not to just absently gaze out the window.
We are starting to pressure the firm to reimburse light rail costs. There doesn't seem to be a reason why they wouldn't, but suits think differently than the rest of us. They are all hip on workplace safety now, and not driving in rush-hour traffic seems like it'd be a Very Good Thing.
That's all for now... today it's all about unpacking and learning how to use the new phone system.
