Not That Bad?
After a week of commuting to our new location, I think I have realized that it's just "not that bad". Yes, I'm spoiled-- I've never had a job with a commute more than 20 minutes. I mean, I've got good equipment to work on here (dual 1Ghz Pentium III Xeon, dual 21" Trinitron monitors), and the people are mostly good to work with. the management is messed up in a lot of ways, but where isn't that true these days?
If I add in telecommuting once or twice a week, mixed with riding my bike & light rail once in a while, I think I can do this. At least until the job market improves, anyway.
Stupid Marketing Tricks
Has anyone tried new Pepsi Blue? Ugh, it's like liquid cotton candy. "Berry Cola Fusion" my ass. I think the pseudo-aztec-tattoo design on the front of the bottle should have been a circus theme instead. Although the existing design made me buy one...
