RIAA cashes in on file-swapping students. And you thought college loans were bad [The Register]

Especially after the recent court ruling against the RIAA, I was hoping that this could go to trial and get shot down.  If Grokster and Morpheaus are legal, there is no way what these kids had wasn't.  I didn't really see it happeneing though.  They settled with the kids for less than it would have cost to defend themselves methinks.
