What do people really use blogs for, anyway?
You all know where I stand: I’d be writing and posting this stuff even if you didn’t read it; the fact that you do is just delicious gravy.
There are a bazillion articles in the naked city. I really have no way of keeping track of them all. Except, there are bunches of bloggers out there willing to sift through the stuff for me. Many of them conveniently put it in context as well.
Take a look at Scott Rosenberg’s blog for Tuesday. It follows the format: comment with a link inside, comment with a link inside. This seems to be the most successful format.
I’m beginning to suspect that people don’t read blogs (in general) to hear what the blog-writers have to say; they’re more interested in your reading material.
