Remember Mayim Bialik? She was the little redheaded girl who played the young Bette Midler in “Beaches”, who went on to star on that show “Blossom” in the early 90’s.
According to VH1, she’s getting her Ph.D. in neuroscience at UCLA, and directs the Jewish a capella singing group (you know, Hebrew versions of “It Was A Very Good Year”, that sort of thing).
She is so the type.

I am getting more and more frustrated with Averil Levigne.
I like any pop alternative to Britney and Christina, but Averil is turning into a real one-trick pony. Never mind that all her songs and interviews are exactly like listening to a whiny Jr. High skate punk complain about how she’s just too cool and mature to make friends with the kids in her class, but her talents are limited.
She needs to learn that there’s more to acting (even in a video) than staring defiantly into the camera, and she needs to start listening to something besides old Rancid CDs. I was waiting for my plane to board in Washington DC a couple of months ago, and she was announcing this year’s Grammy nominees, and she pronounced David Bowie as “David B-OW-ie”, as in “OW, it’s going to hurt when her critics get a hold of that one.”, instead of “David Bow-ie”, as in “Tie a bow around rock history, it’s over.”
