I went to a sales meeting yesterday. My main role is to wear a suit and say, "I am a senior technical resource, and I have had experience with your problem." Then keep quiet for the rest of the day.

They gave us the same song-and-dance: "We'd really love to retain your services, but we dont have the budget this quarter and have to get the okay from the central office..." blah blah blah. Why these people don't just ask for a brochure and not waste our time is beyond me.

I've started paying more attention to my nutrition these days. I've been tired and irritable lately, and I'm sure my poor diet isn't helping anything.

I've gone on the vitamin suppliments again. When I was a kid, my mom made me take a multivite every day, but I ditched that habit as soon as I got out of the house, along with a lot of other practices that contributed to my physical and mental well-being. Shows you how smart I am.

Anyhow, vitamin supliments are generally formulated by crazy people. Most of them give you something like 10 times the Recommended Daily Allowance of any one substance (which could be toxic for all anyone knows), not to mention all the questionable stuff they throw in additionally. I never take a vitamin that supplies more than 100% of the RDA of any one thing. I like Centrum. They have a nice informational site on what individual vitamins do.
