I know the blog entries haven't been up to snuff lately. I apologize for that.

I've been having problems with words. Not words specifically, just the people who use them excessively. They fog my thinking and drive me to homicidal rage.

I currently have a sort of a friend-type person in my orbit who has a rationalization for EVERYTHING.

Sample conversation (at three AM):

Him: "What do you think I could do to get out of the rut I'm in?"

Me: "Well, for starters, you can stop deliberately seeking out the most chaotic situations and people available."

Him: "You just don't understand. You see, I feel that I have a duty to blah blah blah Kant blah blah Dostoevsky blah blah..."

And on and on. Some people just have an inherent talent for talking themselves into never doing anything to change the crummy situations they themselves are responsible for getting themselves into. But then, it's just not "poetic" to live a life you actually have some control over I guess.
