The second most screwed-up guy I know, the one who's skittish and paranoid, who spends compulsively and throws a tantrum whenever anyone disagrees with him or, you know, has anything like a good time or a fortunate windfall... the one who turns every conversation into a discussion of HIS feelings and HIS problems... the one who bitched and moaned about being lonely until he met his girlfriend, then went and married her after nine months...
His (I assume equally screwed-up) wife is having a baby.
There's nothing I can do about it, so I'm just trying to let it go.
Some people just aren't happy until they can bring another person into the world to screw up .
