Obligatory Salon Blogs Tour (Part the First)
It seems everyone does it at least once, so I figure it's my turn. There are a lot of really good weblogs hosted at Salon. These are ones I often visit.
Commentary by Miss Feva: Always a fun read. Miss Feva talks about current events and life in general with a good dose of humor thrown in.
Gnosis: Ah, a blogger I actually know in real life. If Proust and The Essayes of Montaigne are your bag, Morgan's got what you want. I must admit I sometimes feel grossly undereducated after reading Gnosis.
Hate Central: I would probably appreciate Hate Central a lot more if I was into college sports. Nonetheless, anyone who knows why KRS-One > Nelly is very cool in my book.
No Code: I check into this one every now and then. It's mainly short stories. His robber story was uber. Great work.
Nobody Loves Raymond: I feel this blog is underrated. Raymond writes mainly about learning Japanese and running marathons. We all know he is learning the language to hit on Japanese women . Good read, check it out.
Pesky the Rat: I didn't notice this weblog until this weekend. It's pretty damn funny if you ask me. Cute artwork too.
readme.blog: Some loser who plays too many video games and makes fun of celebrities. Wow, what an original concept.
Real Live Preacher: The preacher came out of the blue and was an instant hit amongst Salon bloggers. The kick is the guy is a real live preacher. If only my Roman Catholic upbringing would allow me to read his heathenistic teachings. At least I am going to heaven. "smile"
Scott Rosenberg's Links & Comment: The alpha-blog, the omega-blog, the uber-blog. Scott's king around these parts and don't you forget it.
The Raven: Another Salon favorite. Informative commentary on current events. Every day's another chance to stick it to the Man.
The Reverse Cowgirl's Blog: Love her or hate her, Susannah Breslin has pulled in over 225,000 hits since her launch. She will soon overtake the mighty Scott Rosenberg in page reads. The content is debatable. Some say it's brilliantly cheeky, others say pr0n. Either way few can resist checking it out.
Enough for now. I will continue the tour next week. 10:28:49 AM |
