Today would have been JRR Tolkien's eleventy-first birthday. This is of course is a very special occasion for a hobbit. Even though he reportedly hated films, I hope if he lived this long he would be proud of the admiration his work is getting these days due to The Lord of the Rings on the silver screen.
In other Tolkien news, can you believe that these guys are protesting The Return of the King???
