Macworld 2003 Stuff
Watching the stream right now. So far stuff that interested me (will update as I hear it):
- 7.8 million unique visits to the switch site since launch. 68% of those are Windows users.
- 600,000 iPods sold in 14 months (that's one per minute).
- The iSki-jacket. A ski jacket with remote in the sleeve. Haha.
- There are 5 million registered Mac OS X users.
- Final Cut Express -- cheaper version of Final Cut Pro. $299.
- Integrated all the iApps as "iLife" bundled with new Macs or for $49 in-store.
- Safari -- brand new browser!!! Based on KHTML. Free download. Open source.
- Keynote -- $99 Powerpoint killer.
- 17" Powerbook. Woah. Backlit keyboard. 6.8lbs. Aluminum, not painted. 802.11g 54Mb/s wi-fi. $3,299. Ouch.
- 12" Powerbook. $1,799.

Bad News, Good News
Looks like Microsoft shut down The Neo Project's attempt at brute forcing the Xbox's private key. Oh well, it probably would have taken forever with a 2048-bit key and the slow-arse Visual Basic Neo client.
In good gamer news, Nintendo today announced a new Gameboy Advance design -- the "Gameboy Advance SP." It will debut in the States and Europe in March. The price with be ~$100. The device will be thinner than the current design and (finally) backlit!
