What Would This Weblog Be Without the Daily AOL Time Warner Entry? Richard Parsons, CEO of AOL Time Warner, is faced with a difficult choice. He needs to come up with at least $1 billion in cash to buy Comcast out of a partnership, but he left the wallet with the $1 billion in it in his other pants, which he left at his summer home on the Vineyard. So he has three choices: a) borrow the money and kill AOL Time Warner's credit rating, which is tenuously hanging just above junk bond territory; b) issue more stock (100 million shares or so at the current price), forcing the already job threateningly low stock price even lower; or c) have a garage sale of corporate assets.
