Hey, folks, you've got to check out the Bush Impeachment Countdown. This person has dedicated their life to seeing the shrub leaving office prematurely. His humor and insight is entertaining at least, prophetic at best.
I guess the reason for a blog like that here is because most Salon.com subscribers are a bit left of center. I think of myself as simply a bit "off." Why is the political spectrum only a vector? I think of it as a three-dimensional landscape. I like to borrow bits from Republicans, Democrats, Greens, with a healthy dose of the Natural Law party. Makes for a nice political salad.

Interesting blog by "prickly pig" off-site from Salon. He had a dream several nights ago about a red pickup truck. He referenced my blog. I own a red pickup truck.

Lots of questions arise in being "chaordic." Just how far does an organization need to fall into chaos before order arises? I've heard that it is necessary to fall completely, to let everything fall apart, and then order comes out of that. That is really hard to do. Everyone is trying to "get things back on track." It's our nature. Everyone gets frustrated. Some people quit and go home. But those that hang in there can be treated to something special. In a self-organizing system, out of the chaos comes a new, different order that was meant to be all along.
Let me give an example. Say you are in a meeting of fifty people. There is a formal agenda, but already the meeting is getting behind. Then a few renegades take over the agenda and start complaining about something. The leaders get upset because we're losing valuable time and "let's take this offline." (As a facilitator, I love that line. But, in retrospect, it really is an awful thing to say in a meeting.) But obviously, something needs to be talked about that isn't being addressed. So the meeting descends into chaos. The different factions gather separately and decide how they are going to "adapt" to this topic being brought up. The groups come together and things get pretty damn honest (hopefully). People get input that may never have had a chance under the old agenda. Then they leave the meeting thinking that maybe this meeting wasn't so bad after all.
