Chapter 4: Number Twelve, Grimmaud Place

Grimmaud Place is revealed as the home of the Sirius Black’s family and the current (hidden) headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, a secret society that Dumbledore formed. Harry is surprised to see Snape is also a member of the Order.

Hermione, Ron and the Weasley family are at the house. We find out that Percy has abandoned the Weasley family after an argument with Mr Weasley. There seems to be a fight between Dumbledore and the Ministry, fueled by the Daily Prophet.

Fred and George have invented Extendable Ears to let them eavesdrop. A painting of Sirius’ mother shouts and screams at anybody in the house, and the house-elf, Kreacher, is more loyal to her than Sirius.
