Chapter 2: Spinner's End
Bellatrix Lestrange and her sister Narcissa pay a visit to Severus
Snape. They tell Snape they do not trust him because he has been at
Hogwarts for years under the orders of Voldemort but hasn't gotten rid
of Albus Dumbledore nor Harry Potter. Snape reveals his job for the
Dark Lord is spying on Dumbledore and the Order of the Phoenix and
providing information about their activities.
Narcissa is the wife of Lucius Malfoy, now imprisoned in Azkaban, and
mother of Draco. She has come to Snape to ask his help in looking after
Draco who has been enlisted to help Voldemort on a dangerous and secret
mission. Snape makes an Unbreakable Vow to do all he can to protect
Draco on his mission, and to complete the mission if Draco fails.
