Luncheon meat chronicles: In my ever vigilant attempt to wipe spam from my life I have installed a powerful filter.
And, with a lot of tweaking over the past four days or so the software has even come to recognize the difference between press releases and actual spam (although sometimes its hard even for me to tell). Now, almost nothing gets by it.
The problem is that it still (as it should, because it just might mislabel an important message) leaves the decision up to me as to whether or not I kill the spam outright or take a tiny look to see what it was about in the first place.
And you know what? It's hard not to read it anyway.
Ever gradually, though I am winning against my own self-defeating nature.
Next I beat the late night popcorn craving.
