Lack of interest: Well, okay, my test worked and put GfC (as we affectionately call Golf for Cats) on the update list.
Is it possible that my weather report item was just too dull to allow the software to take notice?
That was a rhetorical question.

Update test: Hmmmmn, sometimes this space just doesn't seem to be updating.
This is just a little attempt to see what's wrong.

Weather report: Most of the year where I live it is raining, or threatening to rain, or cloudy or sunny with cloudy periods. Sometimes it snows, but only for a few days at a time, and nothing stays on the ground for longer than a week.
For the past month and a half the skies have been almost relentlessly clear.
At first, as always, this is a delight. But after a while a nervousness sets in. This weather is too good. It has gone on too long. No one deserves this much sun.
