Remember how the King of the Danes (or was it the Dutch?) had himself televised wearing the yellow star the day the Nazis (forgive me mnemonic) rolled them out?
When they came for the -zillas I said nothing, for I was not Radio Free Blogistanzilla....
In Wonderchickenzilla's sidebar he currently (and what's the point of a permalink he pondered, when it links to the site root and the fair abuse likely won't last?) describes himself thusly:
A Huge Mutant Lizard (who is)bent on destroying Tokyo (and is) . . . Powered by Movable Type 2.2, CH3CH2OH, and a compulsion to destroy Tokyo.

It's fascinating to read how he's watched his children adopt IM and not email as their basic mode of online communication. I noticed this generation gap a few years ago but I'm not in a position to make these systems evolve, at least not directly, not the way Ozzie is.
I also like the way he's using Radio's Stories feature for his essays, and I think he deserves some more coherent feedback in that format. A challenge!
In another context, ThatAdamGuy asked me how I find the time to write in numerous different blogs, and this roused a long answer out of me. Hey, look, now I'm using stories too.

Would this be something like the Jakob/Zeldman buttons for switching from serif to sans-serif? I think I may need to ask a CSS guru, such as Eric Meyer or Eric Costello .
("Are all your CSS gurus called Eric?")

Here's where I think the anti-Winer crowd is off-base:
We missed the initial publishing of a review comparing MovableType with Radio. Nice job, it's quite informative. We admit we missed it's inital publishing but Dave's whining about it called us to action.
This is funny and ironic. You only heard about my humble review because of your obsession with Dave. Maybe you're in love?Had Dave not bothered taking his usual tone; attacking anyone that dares to be critical of his products, we would surely have missed such a nicely done bit of work.
I beg to differ. I don't feel that Dave was attacking me at all. He presented a spirited defense of his own product (quite reasonable) and brought out some oversights of mine. You of all people should understand the role of give-and-take in the blogosphereAs is typical, Dave can't simply let things rest and evolve.
You could be describing your instant and voluminous presence in my comment logsHe has to immediately blurt out something that vindicates his product while making subtle attempts to undermine the credibility of the reviewer.
I don't see that at all. I feel that Dave has treated me with respect. I don't see him undermining my credibility. If he wanted to do that he could ignore me. His links in ScriptingNews have generated the bulk of my traffic.

Be sexy You are a sexual being. So are all of your readers (except the Google robot). Sex is interesting. Sex is life, and life is interesting. The more of yourself you put into your writing, the more human and engaging your work will be. If your writing is a personal journal, and if it is honest, you will have to write about things that you find embarrassing to describe, feelings you might not want to share, events that you wouldn't mention to strangers (or, perhaps, to anyone). Decide now what you will do, before it happens. Undressing, literally, figuratively, or emotionally, has always been a powerful force in personal sites and web logs. Pictures don't matter in the long run; what matters is the trajectory of your relationship with the reader, the gradual growth of intimacy and knowledge between you.

Just one entry later he also defines blogrolling (thiat is I think plasticbag.org is a 'he'—I should check that), particularly for the U.K. blogging audience (and cites what is also my own preferred folk etymology, from logrolling).
