Accidentally like a martyr

We made mad love, shadow love, random love and abandoned love. Accidentally like a martyr. The hurt gets worse and the heart gets harder.

Just got The Wind, finally. The store clerk said they had been flying off the shelves. Everybody needs a copy before he dies.

I'll let you know what I tink in a few days. (sic). But I'll always love him for lyrics like that (at the start of this.) Accidentally like a martyr is one of the funniest phrases I ever heard. Until you hear it in context, then it's heart breaking. But still hysterical. Never been anybody like him.
