The real Survivor All Star: Rupert

That's pretty cool. I'll buy that. And I think it's a more valid shot than the stupid process they had going.

Nice to see it going to a nice guy for once. And I think he really is a nice guy, in spite of things going to his head now and then.

And how nice of them to finish a few minutes early, so we could flip over to the much more important Fraiser finale.

Tom?

Rob in the final four makes me wretch, but Tom?

Baffles me even more than it sickens me.

But I don't think he has much of a shot.

Still think it's Rupert, though I could see Colby.

(By the way, I started late, so I fast-forwarded through most of the show so I could switch over to Fraiser early. Looked like the best way to view it. I'll catch the rest later as radio while I cook or clean this weekend. Not really worth a full-time view.)

Survivor All Stars -- Open comments thread

Have I mentioned lately how I hate Radio Userland. It just ate my entire post just as I was wrapping it up.

I'll try to reconstruct it later, but the short story is, hope to see people back now that my extended Sasser-Worm absense is over.

I never got around to voting, way too busy this week, but I wish I had, even though I never decided. Ethan? Kinda half-hearted on that. Kathy? She got pretty weaselly at the end. Shii Ann definitely didn't earn it.

Just as long as none of the barf-me-out candidates win. Namely either of the Robs.

Rupert is the clear favorite, I think, and my money is on him, and I would be OK with that. Rudy could steal it, which I think would be misplaced, but wouldn't make me sick.

Now. Will the show be entertaining. Seriously doubt it. A full hour to milk one result? These type shows are always dreadful. But I'll tune in, maybe live while I Tivo Fraiser. (First I have to find out what crap they're preceding the real Fraiser finale with.)

Now that's something I can about. Yes, it's only TV, but I loved that show so many years until the exec producer died in the 9/11 crash and it lost it overnight. Got to say goodbye.

So chime away, if you're still out there. I'll be back tonight.
