Recovering

Wow. Who invented halloween?

Thank you.

And gave me a chance to forget all about the electoral college for 24 hours. Almost. Found myself checking the latest round of polls while already in my costume Saturday night. My buddy is standing there hounding me to get my butt moving, cause we're three hours late for the pre-party--mostly his fault, though he did sew a pocket inside my costume for me last minute, since i had no where to put anything--and I'm pretending I have one last-minute thing I just have to do, and I did, actually, I had to check the freaking polls.

And today's numbers did unsettle me a little. Still extremely close nationally, which is great for the challenger, but I had been hoping for a slightly better trendline by now.

Still, Slate's electoral map is looking great. An exact tie, which is incredible/scary, though it doesn't account for GOTV, incumbent rule, etc., so a tie there is great news.

I imagine Bush's pollesters have already informed Karl that he has lost. Sure hope so.
