Gore endorsing Dean tomorrow

Well, Howard Dean is taking a big leap toward finishing it off this week. Al Gore is spurning his own running mate to endorse the doctor.

It happens tomorrow morning in New York City, then they travel together to campaign in Iowa.

He's gotten quite a few mainstream-party endorsements lately, but this could really open the floodgates. So much for the party heirarchy lining up against him.

And the evil Howard Kurtz has a column about pundits endorsing him.

Molly Ivins endorses Dean

I love Molly Ivins.

Not sure what took her so long, but she finally came out for Dean.

And the reason? She really thinks he can knock Bush out of the White House.

Finally! A pundit who grasps the power this man can wield. But then she doesn't live anywhere near Washington.

A choice nugget:

These Republicans do not have a different strategy -- they are playing a different game. They
don't want to govern -- they want to rule.

And her parting thought:

And folks, I think we have got ourselves a winner here.
