Ah, those exploding toads

Very strange story:

Exploding toads puzzle German scientists

A thousand of them so far, in one month, all in a single pond in Germany.

Got to be a story in there somewhere. Or at least a chapter or a scene.

No time this year to write it, though.

I wonder if I'll ever see it pop up in someone else's work.
