The Threatening Storm I had hoped to post my thoughts on Kenneth Pollack's book The Threatening Storm but between the child, the weblog and these cruel--if you are a title examiner--interest rates, I haven't even had time to finish the book, let alone develop any deep insights that would really add anything to the discussion. But, Calpundit has done so and has posted a terrific review on his weblog. It is quite a bit better than mine would have been anyway.
The American Prospect has promised to post a debate between Jonathan Chait and Kenneth Pollack arguing for an invasion and Bill Glaston and Ben Barber (author of Jihad vs. McWorld) in opposing one but it doesn't seem to be up yet. Robert Kuttner summarizes the debate here, though he is unfair to Pollack's arguments
