Thumping My Head in Disbelief . . .
. . . Because a day after the story broke about a CIA report that describes the situation in Iraq as dire and our efforts are in danger of collapsing, Insta "But they're building schools" Pundit posts this:

MORE BAD PRESS for the antiwar movement

And links to a story about some stupid, petty, quickly repaired vandalism.

While that was going on, administration officials had to leak the CIA report so that the President would pay attention, fer chrissake:

The report landed on the desks of senior U.S. officials on Monday. Disclosures on the report's findings suggested senior policymakers want to make sure the assessment reaches Bush.

Some senior policymakers have expressed frustration in efforts to provide Bush with more somber analyses of the situation in Iraq than the optimistic views presented by Vice President Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld, and other hard-liners.

We are in a war and the Commander-in-Chief won't acknowledge bad news until it's waved in his face (at least we hope he notices it). Of course Bozo-pundit still won't acknowledge the bad news, even as mortar shells land in the Green Zone.

The incident that he refers to is despicable, but if you read the article he links to, there isn't any evidence that it was done by an anti-war organization. In fact, the newspaper could only find anti-war types who denounced the vandalism.
