Pesky the Rat is my new hero - a sort of Archy the Cockroach for a new century. Pesky is an intrepid litle guy and got the secret polling questions used to determine popular support for the coming Iraq invasion (you doubt it?). You'll have to check it out to know, but be warned: Iraq and Disneyland are used in the same sentence. (The cartoons are great, too. Especially Janet the Snake -my fav!)

It's way past time to thank Mark Hoback, who's fine web site "The Occoquan Inquirer" includes a mirror of this blog. Mark is a real writer, has a blog novel called "Green" on Salon, as well as many other stories on his site. Thanks for your support, Mark!
