I found an MP3 of Tori Amos singing Bruce Springsteen's "Thunder Road." As one might expect, she transformed it into a hauntingly beautiful solo. This was apparently taken from a live radio program and it sounded impromptu, That got me thinking, though, that there ought to be a Springsteen tribute album.

I've got a tentative set list, but I'd like to see some alternatives.

Atlantic City - Lyle Lovett

Badlands - Pearl Jam

Murder, Inc. - Neil Young

Born to Run - this is tough, maybe Bjork?

Thunder Road - has to be Tori!

Glory Days - Natalie Merchant

Rosalita - Bare Naked Ladies

Out in the Street - Sheryl Crow

Hungry Heart - Dave Matthews Band

Born in the USA - Tom Waits or the Dixie Chicks

Tenth Avenue Freezeout - The Strokes

Prove It All Night - Matchbox Twenty

Any other ideas?
