Random thoughts on a slow day in sub-herb-ia...

- An afternoon of substitute teaching has only confirmed my belief that kids are, indeed, getting dumber. (And yes, high school chicks are getting hotter.) Kids try to cheat on tests without even attempting to be smooth about it. Dumb girls gawk at the sub and consider stepping to him like he's R. Kelly (if she had been one of the hot ones, maybe...haha). And every time I go there, I'm bombarded by wack wannabe rappers last period. It never fails. *sigh*

- Much like Andrew Bayer did, I stumbled upon Basketball Pipeline today, and it's generally pretty dope -- although he's wrong about the Lakers (an easy add to the fraud list, by the way), and I would appreciate a little love for my Fightin' Irish after they blasted Marquette last night. For now, it looks like it's a strictly NBA site, so I'll just offer up a quick CELTICS WHAT and move on.

- Ja Rule has driven the final nail into the career coffin of Bobby Brown. This is a sad day for New Edition fans. "Thug Love?" Say it ain't so, B.

- Speaking of spiraling careers, new Mariah dropped today. I wonder if she's decided to stop sucking now that she got dropped from her label.

- On another related note, if anyone sees Leon Smith, tell him that his team isn't bothering to look for him.

- If any musicians out there have a copy of the Acid program that they feel like passing off for little to no charge, I'm all ears.

- Finally, in a rare bit of self-congratulation, the Haters got hit number 1,000 last week. I'm surprised we ever got close to that. Thanks to everyone who's checked us out or given us props on their own site.

Be back in a second...
