Hate Central
Welcome to the home of the SuperHaters...where we hate on just about everything in sight. Be it sports, politics, entertainment, you or whatever...we've got an opinion on it, and our opinion is right. SuperHaters...what.

More scattershot hate...

- I'm in the process of reading one of the better books I've ever touched -- Phyllis Bennis' "Before & After: US Foreign Policy and the September 11 Crisis." I'll handle this one in great detail when I finish (likely tomorrow), opening up some big ol' tins of hate in the process. Let's just say for starters that I'm not retracting anything I've said in the past week, Bubba...

- Did I mention how happy I was that Ja Rule got booed off the field in Philly last weekend? It only could've been better if it had happened at the Super Bowl or the Apollo. Maybe now Jeffrey will realize that his entire fan base is below the age of 15...

- Why do I get the sinking feeling that Jordan really is not going to retire after this year?...

- Basketball at its worst -- the game I covered last night featured 53 fouls, 79 free throws (including 38 misses) and a coach who insisted on fouling and doing five-man line changes at every whistle...with his team down 20 and four minutes on the clock. As karma would have it, this coach is now steering a 1-15 team...

- Wait...I still don't know if that's worse than most regular-season NBA games...

- Yeah, I know...baseball is still months away. I just figured I'd let y'all know that I still hate the Yankees...

- The Dems have come up with a tax-cut plan of their own -- and guess what? It actually might benefit the lower class, and it won't run the deficit up past infinity. Wanna bet that it doesn't pass as it stands?...

- Speaking of lower class, I got most of my W-2s back -- and for the 28th consecutive year of my life, I can expect to get back every dime that I gave the feds. Once I get back my remaining forms from my side jobs, I can expect my total income to be somewhere under $12,000 (I'll take a collection later). April is the one time it pays to sit below the poverty line...

- On the other hand, I'm being out-earned by the likes of Corey Feldman, Evan Marriott and...well, a lot of people that are more stupider than me. I prefer to see the glass half-full, however...

- Very few people are more delusional than fans of the Chicago Bears. I think half of them still expect to turn on the TV Sunday and see their team there...

- If Joe Millionaire and Trista the Bachelorette are really an item, I hope our government passes breeding restrictions ASAP. It's too late to stop the Bushes, but we can still make a difference...

- CBA basketball -- it's Tastic. The fan doesn't show up...

- ESPN.com busts a big nut over Mandy Moore and her outfit on Super Bowl media day, and then neglects to show us a picture. Their selection of Jordan as the athlete of the century notwithstanding, this might be their greatest injustice to date...

- Speaking of ESPN, here's hoping that they'll televise Candace Parker's games next year like they did LeBron's this year. Compared to their respective genders, Parker is already better -- and she's still just a junior...

- Every once in a while, I get really upset about people actually selling water. It's almost as bad as gas stations that charge for air. Can a breathing tax be far off?...

- Check that. If it means we're still breathing when our 44th president gets sworn in, I'll gladly consider paying.
