Pesky's observations of the day Observation #1: It's fascinating how much time the felines spend talking about how awfully, terribly liberal Nancy Pelosi is. Gadzooks! A liberal woman! What'll they think of next? I think they're a bit scared. Pelosi is one smart cookie. She's not likely to overstep early on, as the forces of Fancy Feast hope. She has been a very effective whip. And she has about 50 more IQ points than the majority leader to be, Tom "10 second" DeLay. The whole "she's so liberal" thing is likely to backfire anyway, as it will probably play well with the very groups of voters that stayed home November 5th. What's so darned scary about a nice little Northern California granny? She could rip your little kitty balls off, that's what. Observation #2: This article was posted as the top story on the front page of ABCNEWS.com for an extended period of time yesterday. It appears Iraq's weasel spies are now casing American embassies. SHOCKING! As we know, countries under threat of imminent attack are expected to display a higher level of decorum. Here's a quote from the article: "officials say they can only assume all this activity is for some kind of terrorist activity against the United States at a time and place of Iraq's choosing." Only assume? I didn't know our "officials" (who remain nameless) are so limited in the capacity for assumption. And then there's the bit about "time and place of Iraq's choosing." Obviously, Iraq should only attack us when WE choose. Wait--oh, yeah. It's disappointing to see this sort of reporting from a rodent-owned news network. But then again, Disney has gone downhill ever since my former Congressional rival Mel the Snake ate Mickey Mouse back in 2000. I swear to you, Mickey's 3,000 descendants are running that place into the ground. Little trust-fund mice swarming all over the place. At one point, 176 of them got jammed in the teacup mechanism. That wasn't pretty. Observation #3 Couldn't Salon have found a nicer picture of Steve Earl? I don't know much about the guy, but it's far too obvious in this picture that he's five rats in a suit. Observation #4 Speaking of rodents in a suit, I must insist one more time that the 5 rodents who control Alan Greenspan must resign. Today they declared that the economy had hit a "soft patch". I'll take your soft patch and raise you a Giant Pain in the Ass, Greenspan. Greenspan was much better when Bonkers the Lemming was in the head position. But alas, those days are gone.
