The Rat cowers as the skies open up
Thunder and lightning over the poor little Silicon Valley tonight. Crashing, booming thunder followed by pounding rain...the Santa Cruz mountains inch ever closer to my door, and Susan the Human clutches her new super-duper emergency flashlight, just in case. While all this is going on, I have had little time to consult my Highly Reliable Anonymous Source for additional stories. I am told Snuffy the Cat is on the prowl again, and I'm chasing down some leads at the moment. In the meantime, here's a few Salon Blogs for discerning readers:
- From Playing With My Food and Other Things: Dick Cheney tunnels into White House.
- Over at Standing Room Only is an excellent description of how to screw up your web site. As The Rat will be engaging in the same transition forthwith (to the haloscan comments system), anticipate more of the same here.
- Runswithscissors has a story about the mathematically perfect pizza.
- The new edition of the Virtual Occoquan is now online--contains some of the more interesting Salon Blog posts of the week in magazine format.
- Life on Earth has some unsolicited advice from his island kingdom.
For those of you who found me through Google or other means, Salon Blogs is the community of blogs to which this rat belongs. Most of the bloggers claim to be human, although I believe at least a couple are members of the weasel family.
