Travel Reading:
I note that the New York Times website has altered their policy about old stories, at least regarding Travel section articles: old travel articles are now FREE, and are classified by region. There are 94 articles about Japan and 38 about Tokyo.

For the Japan articles, I tend to like especially the ones by Elizabeth Andoh, a food writer based in Tokyo, as they contain information I can apply directly, as it were (in fact, I once ate in a tiny little restaurant in Fukagawa because they had an old Andoh review posted in the window). I'll compile a list of ones I like later.
