Is it Crime or Terrorism?. The difference between crime and terrorism appears to be merely "trust me." according to this article today in Legal Times... [TalkLeft: The Politics of Crime]

Want to go to prison?  Piss John Ashcroft off and he'll call you an 'enemy combatant' and lock you up and pretend you no longer exist.  And he says there's nothing you can do about it.

Editor's note. If anybody knows of any resources that would shed light on what was going on with the 'de jure' government of the Republic and with Sinn Féin during the period from the end of the Civil War to the 1940s, please email me. They can be resources in either Ireland or the US. This is a period of Republican history that particularly interests me.
