A picture named 1goodhand.JPG

O.K., so I didn't put down the newspaper to go cry; what I did was punch my fist into the wall.  You don't believe a frail little old lady would try such a trick?  Believe. I have a broken thumb, abrasions, a fairly deep cut, and paint from the wall to prove it, and a husband who is angered by my histrionics, and a costly trip to the ER.

...After reading the front page of the Los Angeles Times, I had to fold up the paper and leave the room to cry.

The lead right hand headline blared: "BUSH TELLS U.S. TO PREPARE FOR WAR. A second piece underneath this announced that the use of nuclear devices was being weighed by the Administration. This, so we can nuke the underground caches which, presumably, contain Iraq's "weapons of mass destruction" biochemicals and warheads.

Discussing nuclear bombs for Iraq? My God! How dare they even think of such a thing? In my name, and your name and in the name of this country?

How long will this madness be tolerated? Where are the Democrats? Don't tell me that because the Democrats are the minority party, they can't rise up against this crazy man and his gang of murderous crazies, and Nixon thugs.

I am almost to the point where I am thinking we should let Bush have his war. I am almost to the point where I would be willing to be right in the middle of the Iraqi biochemical attack that is sure to come.. I am almost to the point of enduring whatever it takes to get this man heaved out of office.
