Where is the follow up story on the outing of Joseph Wilson's wife as a C.I.A. operative? Given that an investigation by the F.B.I was announced, one might reasonably expect some kind of progress report from some source, somewhere.  Even a leak.  But, it has all but disappeared from the media.  Once again the so-called liberal press as failed us.  Am I surprised? ...Interestingly enough, the headline on today's New York Times lead article reads, " U.S. OFFICIALS SEE HUSSEIN'S HAND IN ATTACKS ON AMERICANS IN IRAQ."  Which supports my belief, and certainly the beliefs of many others, aired in my two-day old posting.  Surprise. Surprise.  But certainly not to Bush & Cabal  for you can be sure they already know--not just suspect--that Saddam Hussein is behind the attacks. However, it's in the interest of this Administration to portray Mr. Hussein as "on the run with his tail between his legs," and they expect thinking Americans to buy it. On the other hand, these self-proclaimed crusaders and swaggering bullies, don't really believe there is such a thing as an average "thinking American." Our potentates--Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield, Wolfowitz, Perle, Freist, and all the other thugs in rimless eyeglasses--have the exclusive franchise on brains, and we are the peasants tilling their corporate fields.. So we are spoon-fed information vital to our welfare and, I might add, the welfare of everyone else in the world, like babies eating their morning cereal. 10:02:13 AM    comment []
