Is it chutzpah or just more stupidity? Mr. Bush visits the army base at Fort Carson, Colorado, where 31 troops were lost in his war. Before he speaks to the men and women gathered there, he takes off his suit jacket and dons a drab military jacket.

Who is costuming this man? Or, perhaps, wearing military garb is his very own child-like idea. It is so profoundly insulting that it sets me to sputtering. Exactly who does this man, and his keepers, think they are talking to when he plays dress up? We all know he never saw military service. We all know we that we are not winning his war in Iraq. We all know that the majority of Americans are against his war. So why the in-your-face military jacket?

Does he know all this and not give a damn what we think? Yes.

Add this latest silly "action hero" stunt to the mile-long list of serious affronts to the people of this nation, and impeachment would be an option if only he could be found competent to stand trial.
