...In the post below, I said "I think broken things are beautiful." Well, not exactly.

I meant photos of broken things, not the pieces themselves.

The photos seem to have drama and hidden meanings. But how long can we ponder "hidden meanings" when our stuff is in shards? What I, the realist, have is a great craft glue called 525 and sculpting paste.  I'll put my pottery back together, glueing first, and then using sculpting paste to hide the glue line. Mixing acrylic paint to cover repairs, and being careful not to be too perfect, sorta smudging it up with my fingers. Then, I'll put the object on a high shelf, and refer to it as a "shelf piece."
