YES, THE SWEET LITTLE OLD LADY MENTIONED THIS WELL OVER TWO WEEKS AGO WHEN THERE WAS STILL TIME TO DO SOMETHING. ...AND NOW IT IS ELECTION DAY AND THE SERIOUS HAND WRINGING HAS BEGUN....

I read today that the rules and mechanics of voting are "iffy" in ten states.

Exactly what are the Democratic big dogs doing about it?  Will they stand around shooting their cuffs and wringing their hands and doing nothing, but nothing.??

I actually think I first read this piece in today's "no news newspaper" referred to by locals as The Los Angeles Times. As opposed to BuzzFlash, which is often too volatile for my taste, though it is the first blog I read.  BuzzFlash says we can't win the House if these questionable states mess up the vote, either innocently or on purpose.  "Geez, we're sorry about what happened to our Diebolds, "(owned, designed and operated by a Republican company), just doesn't make it for me.

What I would do is this: Demand a test run of the touch machines in the presence of key Democratic and Republican members of the judiciary,  Good or bad results make no difference, I would still demand paper copies for possible recounts. If it  looks like the machines are deficient, or hackable. I would demand that they be replaced by paper and pencil ballots with all deliberate speed. I would demand it NOW!

The people in power cannot be trusted. When will the Democrats and the public realize it?  On November 8?
