No need for a time table. One dark night, Iraqi citizens are awakened by the sound of helicopters and planes overhead--like a flock of huge migrating birds--and it goes on all night and into the next for as long as it takes.. Being of sound mind and body, we are leaving the middle of a civil war, and even if it spreads into Iran, it is a Mid- eastern war. Yes, one that we had a hand in igniting. So be it. Let not label it "cut and run." How about a new set of words, something like "sensible stealth departure."
No more bloodshed to save face. And we know who's face that is.
