Thanks to George W. Bush, I've become paranoid about keeping the likes of George W. Bush out of the White House. I rant at decorous dinner parties until the room falls silent with embarrassment for me, I exhort people behind me in the line at a grocery store, demanding that they vote, vote, vote. Vote for any Democrat that catches their fancy.
I decided to take a look at this caucus thing before I was put away, and I have a question:. Can a caucus member change his or her afilliation in midstream? For example, could a registered Republican or Independent vote for Obama in the hope of out-polling Hillary Clinton, and stalling her momentum?
We all know the nomination for President was Hillary's to lose. At last, we had a sure thing. Why you say we had sure thing, Mr. Moto? Because in my wisdom I surmise there is more Bush hatred than HIllary hatred out there and Obama is a leap of faith, we perhaps cannot afford. Yet instead of going in lock step to kiss the hem of Hillary's garment, we Liberals, as usual, over reacted, and voted for the moon and the stars, and youth, and laptops to spread the word, "America is back!" In Iowa and now NH we chose an uberliberal. intelligent, compassionate, well-spoken man in a bespoke suit. But this young man, (an unkown factor, unlike our Hillary), carries baggage too. Everyone carries baggage but not everyone is running for President of the U.s.
If the conservatives prove successful in artificially raising the poll numbers for Obama, it would be their finest hour in dirty tricksterdom. A sneak attack by practiced sneaks.
