Most of the country is probably unaware that there is a bitter strike going on between West Coast dock workers and the shipping companies. The feud is very conspicuous if you live in the Bay Area though. In fact, I can see a slew of cargo ships anchored in the SF Bay.
It's just now starting to have a trickle down effect as manufacturing companies consider idling plants because of the shipping log jam.

The National Organization to Shoot Bill O'Reilly Into the Sun.
If you're not familiar with O'Reilly, no great loss. He cut his journalistic chops anchoring the tabloid TV show, Inside Edition (or A Current Affair. I always get them mixed up). He considers himself a populist. I don't know what criteria he uses to reach that conclusion. He's snide, boorish and condescending and likes to drown out his guests responses with his own loutish remarks. And lo and behold, the Fox News audience loves him.
