Movie Blahs
I was watching Charlie Rose the other evening, and the panel was discussing the summer movies. My movie watching is way off this year. Last movie I saw was X2: Xmen United, and that was a month after it opened. It took me about a week to finally getting around to seeing The Matrix Reloaded, and I was really pumped for that. The last movie I went to see opening weekend was The Core back in March.

I still haven't seen Finding Nemo. I know it has gotten great reviews and it is the highest grossing PG movie this year.... But I hadn't been terribly excited about it since it was announced by Pixar/Disney way back when, and the trailers at Apple.com [http://www.apple.com/quicktime/] never piqued my interest.

I suppose I could go hunt down some indie flicks. I've heard good things about Spellbound and Winged Migration but I'm too lazy to drive out to the Pasadena.

I've been getting far more satisfaction watching the Babylon 5 Season 2 DVDs and rewatching the Sports Night DVDs. And Twin Peaks Season 1 just showed up on my doorstep. But I need to get my air conditioning fixed first to make it bearable to stay in the apartment.
